ISPR: Pakistan Army launches relief efforts in Dadu

Baaghi TV: According to ISPR, Pakistan Army engaged in relief operations in Dadu district of Sindh. The floods have affected 12 villages of Dadu. Recent rains and storms have damaged the embankment of the new Gaj Dam and have flooded nearby areas.

According to ISPR, Army Engineers, Army Medical Teams and Pakistan Army personnel have reached the affected areas in motor boats. Rains have flooded rivers and streams in the Ker Thar hills in Dadu district of Sindh.

In the hilly areas of Kachho in Johi Tehsil, rivers and canals have flooded, while many villages have been affected and several have been inundated.

Pakistan Army and Rangers troops have reached Johi to rescue those trapped in the floods. Several people trapped in the floods have been evacuated while others are being evacuated.

According to Deputy Commissioner Raja Shah Zaman, rescue operation is underway by the district administration and Pakistan Army. On the other hand, the staff of Anhar department is busy filling the 10 feet wide crack in the security barrier at RD-44.

According to ISPR, 12 villages of Dadu have been affected by the floods. Recent rains and storms have damaged the embankment of the new Gaj Dam and cracked the embankment of the Gaj Dam, flooding nearby areas.

According to ISPR, Army Engineers, Army Medical Teams and Pakistan Army personnel have reached the affected areas in motor boats.
