ISPR Pays Tribute to Martyrs Ahead of Defense Day

Each year, Defense Day is celebrated in Pakistan on September 6 with patriotic fervor to honor the soldiers who were martyred defending the borders of Pakistan.
To honor the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives in the 1965 Indo-Pak war, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released two special videos, in one of which one sees a heartwarming letter sent to a soldier by his wife in which she writes how he is a superhero to his son by putting his life on the line for his country.

In the other one, we see a mother who has her daughter in the airforce, despite her husband also being an airforce martyr. She states how proud she is of both her husband and her daughter, and how proud her late husband would be of their daughter too. This video serves to depict the resilience of the families of the martyrs. Even in face of great difficulty, they don’t crumble.
