Israel Says Palestinians Rejected “Completely Valid” Vaccination Doses

Tel Aviv, June 19 (AFP/APP):Israel’s health ministry has issued the statement saying that the covid vaccination doses which were about to expire were rejected by Palestinians but they were “completely valid”.
The Palestinian Authority has called off a deal with Israel according to which Israel was to provide Palestine with one million vaccination doses in exchange for doses from Pfizer that Palestine was expecting to receive by the end of this year.
According to WAFA news agency, Palestine government refused to accept vaccine doses which were about to expire. In response Israeli prime minister Mohammad Shtayyeh instructed their health ministry to cancel the deal between the two countries.
According to Israeli health minister, they delivered usable vaccines but according to their PM’s office those vaccines where about to expire.
“The Palestinian health ministry received Pfizer vaccines that were valid, with expiration dates that were known, agreed on and that matched the agreement between the two sides,” the ministry said.
