Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has said a full ceasefire in Gaza will only be possible after Israeli withdrawal.
Speaking at the Doha Forum 2025 alongside Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, he said the region remains at a critical moment and complete withdrawal of Israeli forces is the only way to achieve lasting peace in Gaza.
In his remarks, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for peace efforts, including a proposed International Stability Force to help maintain security along the border.
He cautioned that failing to implement the second phase would be a huge failure for the international system.
