Italy Health Minister Roberto Speranza has said that all covid-19 pandemic restrictions, lockdowns and curfews will completely be lifted from Monday.

He added that from Monday, their will be no restrictions on wearing face masks except only in extremely crowded areas.

He further said “With the decree I just signed, all of Italy will be white starting Monday. It is an encouraging result, but we still need caution and prudence.” The battle against coronavirus in Italy has not yet ended. Despite of lifting restrictions, we need to be cautious.

Italy has been one of the countries worst affected by the pandemic, with more than 4.25 million cases and 127,418 deaths, including 56 reported in the last 24 hours.

But due to vaccinations the virus statistics have significantly improved around the country.
