The twitter post from the PSL franchise owner has left Twitteratis including Irish batsman Niall O’Brien expressing their consent and excitement for such a scenario.

Replying to Afridi’s comment, O’Brien posted he would love to see a champions league style competition again. He also suggested two teams each from IPL, PSL, Big Bash League (BBL) and one each from New Zealand, Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and other prominent cricket leagues play in two groups of six semi-final and final games.
It is to be noted that the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League in Dubai has taken over millions of television screens world over. Despite the games being played in empty stadiums, IPL 2020 has not failed to entertain its fan base with some exciting matches played so far in the tournament.
Twitteratis have expressed mixed reviews over the proposal, some have shown excitement, while some media users have condemned such a proposal under the circumstances.
@Javed Bhai you are a pioneer on many levels, but right now sports with an RSS fascist regime which torments Kashmiris isn’t worth considering at all… you need to consider your motivations for such a notion!

That would be best but indian administration will never allow it. They are the killers of thriller.

However, this may sound a good suggestion but the Indo-Pak bilateral relations between India and Pakistan are not so well and cross border tensions have further escalated the agitation between the two neighbouring countries.
