“Penalise them” Javed Miandad Lashes Out At Sri Lankan Players

LAHORE: Former Captain Javed Miandad lashes out at Sri Lankan players who have opted out of the upcoming Pakistan series. Miandad suggested Sri Lanka Cricket to “penalise these players”.

According to details Javed Miandad lashes out at Sri Lankan players who have opted out of the upcoming Pakistan series. The former cricketer also said that Sri Lankan players deciding not to visit Pakistan should not affect their players. “International matches should be the top priority for the players and SLC should penalise the ones who have opted out of the Pakistan series,” Miandad was quoted as saying as by Dawn. He also urged all the Pakistani players to concentrate on putting up their best foot forward in the series. 

Reportedly, Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and as many T20Is in Pakistan. The ODIs will take place in Karachi on September 27, September 29 and October 2, while T20 matches will be held in Lahore on October 5, 7 and 9.
