Javed Murtaza appointed as PCB’s Chief Financial Officer

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announces that Javed Murtaza has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Javed Murtaza from Lahore has been appointed after going through a coordinated process of appointment, the BOG approved his appointment in a circular on Thursday.

With over 30 years of service experience, Javed Murtaza is a leading finance professional with extensive experience in Commercial Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Internal and External Audits, International Taxation and ERP Implementation.

Javed Murtaza is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan, England and Wales and a Certified Public Accountant in the Virginia State Board of Accountancy USA. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the United States.

 

He has served KPMG in Toronto Singapore and Ernst & Young in London, his last job was as the head of financial planning and analysis at a multinational company operating in Pakistan.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani said that he welcomes Javed Murtaza to the PCB family. He said that the experience that Javed Murtaza will improve the economic affairs, transparency and governance system of the institution.Javed Murtaza will assume office on Monday, August 3.
