After the announcement of the Secretary of the Indian Cricket Board and the President of the Asian Cricket Council Jay Shah that the Indian team will not be sent to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, there was a stir in the cricket circles of Pakistan.

According to PCB sources, Jay Shah does not have the authority to make an announcement regarding the Asia Cup; this authority belongs to the Executive Board of the Asian Cricket Council.
