Lahore, 24th June: A suspect involved in the Lahore Johar Town blast has been arrested at Allama Iqbal International Airport. According to reports from a private TV, a resident of Gujranwala was trying to escape to Karachi by plane. The suspect was offloaded from the flight and taken into custody by the intelligence agencies. The arrested suspect has been shifted to an unknown location for interrogation. The arrested person will be interrogated by the investigating agencies. It is being claimed that the arrested accused is the owner of the vehicle used in the blast. He was taken off the flight and taken into custody. According to details pouring in, the vehicle used in the blast was stolen from Gujranwala 11 years ago. The case of a stolen vehicle LEB 9928 has been registered in Cantt Gujranwala police station. The police had registered the case on the statement of Shakeel, a resident of Hafizabad. As per reports, on November 29, 2010, at 10.45 am three robbers snatched the vehicle from the driver. Investigations into the Johar Town blast are underway.
