According to the report of Baaghi TV, the court issued a written order for hearing the case of journalist Matiullah Jan contempt of court in the Supreme Court on July 22.

The order said that the case of alleged abduction of Matiullah Jan has been registered in the complaint of his brother. Matiullah Jan’s brother gave a written statement. It was stated that Matiullah Jan met Fateh Jang on July 21 at 11 pm Matiullah Jan did not make any statement.

The written order further said that it is hoped that the government will take action regarding the alleged abduction of Matiullah Jan. A copy of the challan should be presented to the court after Matiullah Jan’s statement. IG Islamabad regarding the alleged abduction of Matiullah Jan. It should be noted that senior journalist Matiullah Jan returned home after recovering. Matiullah Jan did not record his statement to Aabpara police. Aabpara police has registered a case of kidnapping of Matiullah.

A case of abduction of Matiullah Jan was registered in Aabpara police station. The FIR said that the abductors were dressed in black uniforms. The kidnappers had also installed police lights on the vehicles. The case was registered on the complaint of Matiullah Jan’s elder brother Shahid Akbar.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had also taken notice of the abduction of Matiullah Jan. A telephone call was made between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Special Assistant Shehzad Akbar. According to private TV, the Prime Minister inquired from Special Assistant Shehzad Akbar about journalist Matiullah Jan. He directed that all possible efforts be made for the immediate recovery of Matiullah Jan.
