According to the report of Baaghi TV, Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz were indicted in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case. Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz pleaded not guilty. The accountability court summoned the witnesses for reference on August 27.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said in the court that this is a false case, Judge, I served Punjab for 12 and a half years, went to China or other countries only to serve the people, I did not take TA/DA of crores of rupees, I did not even take petrol of car from government.
Shehbaz Sharif said that I built several hospitals. Made a hospital like PKLI. Invested trillions of rupees with teamwork. Transparency is a legal obligation. I did no favors. Judge, who knows better than you about law enforcement. Saved billions of rupees in projects worth trillions of rupees. On the other hand, would I kill time in a sewer case?
Strict security arrangements have been made for the appearance of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz in the court, a heavy contingent of police has been deployed.
It should be noted that in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case, NAB has arrested Hamza Shehbaz. Hamza Shehbaz is handed over to NAB on physical remand. NAB had arrested Hamza Shehbaz after his bail application was rejected by the Lahore High Court.
