K-Electric celebrates Iconic Organizations of Karachi

Pakistan’s private electric supply company, K-Electric, during the first edition the KHI Awards announced 34 winners from 13 categories. According to reports, iconic organizations operating in Karachi were honored by K-Electric. The organizations that won included the categories of: Education, Public Health, Uplifting Communities, Livelihoods & Vocational Training, Heritage & Cultural Accessibility and others. The winners were reportedly announced in a small private ceremony on the 3rd of April, 2021. According to reports, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail made his appearance through a video message in which he stated that the participants and winners are an “integral part of the state” because “they support the government in its efforts to help the people”. Governor Sindh continued that he appreciates K-Electric’s recognition of their efforts.
