Karachi continues to face power outages

Karachi, 15th July: Karachi continues to face prolonged power cuts in the sweltering heat. According to Baaghi TV, the people of Karachi are still facing prolonged power failures amid hot and humid weather in the city. As reported by The News, residents of Karachi continued to face prolonged power failures amid claims by the K-Electric that it has eliminated load shedding in the city. 130 Megawatt electricity production stalls, K-Electric shuts one unit of Bin Qasim power plant: Report According to the power supplier, the power cuts in the city were due to ‘load management’. Areas facing power cuts in the city include Defence, Clifton, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and Gulistan-e-Johar. Defence Phase V, Clifton Block 2 and 5, Boat Basin, Gulistan-e-Johar Block 19, 1 and 2 as well as the different areas of Gulshan-e-Iqbal faced extreme power outages.
