KARACHI, August 19 (Online): Chairman Pak Sirzameen Party (PSP) Mustafa Kamal has said federation should not come in the matters of Karachi which has been devastated under a pre-conceived conspiracy and these conspiracies stand linked to RAW.
“Federation should not step into the matters of Karachi. Karachi was destroyed under a pre-conceived conspiracy. These conspiracies are linked with RAW. The way the division of Sindh is not acceptable, the division of Karachi is not acceptable too”, he said this while talking to media men outside Accountability Court (AC) Karachi after hearing of illegal allotment of Clifton plots case Wednesday.
He went on to say only one man has been empowered in the name of provincial autonomy. After 18th amendment, provinces were given autonomy. Why all the four provincial chief ministers don’t devolve the powers at grass root level.
He urged that provincial autonomy should go down to the level of town and councils. Even clean drinking water is not being supplied to people of Karachi, he added.
He observed land of Sindh is like mother for us. Why the provinces are not giving PFC award. Karachi has been split into six pieces.
About powers he said powers have not been devolved at the level of common man and UCs. Pakistan cannot move forward till the distribution of resources.
There is need to devolve powers at grass root level to reform Karachi, he said adding the resources provided to provinces remained confined to the chief minister house only.
Holding Altaf Hussain responsible for destruction of Karachi he exposed RAW conspiracy behind it.
He stated the prevailing governance system cannot run in the country any more. Electoral reforms are needed in the country. Other options will have to be taken into consideration for improvement in electricity supply system in Karachi, he urged.
