Baaghi TV: Four warehouses near Lyari Cheel Chowk in Karachi caught fire. The fire was brought under control with the help of 6 fire brigade vehicles. Clothes worth crores of rupees were burnt to ashes.
Four Landa clothing warehouses set on fire in Usmanabad near Lyari Cheel Chowk in Karachi. Upon receiving the report, 6 fire brigade vehicles put out the fire. All the cloth in the warehouses was burnt to ashes. The fire intensified as water board vehicles arrived late, causing the roofs of warehouses to collapse.
According to fire brigade officials, a total of six fire brigade vehicles contained the blaze. Warehouse owners said that crores of rupees worth of clothes and lakhs of rupees of cash were burnt to ashes due to the fire.The cause of the fire could not be ascertained while no casualties were reported due to the blaze.
There are no power lines in this type of warehouse as only linen cloth is stored here. Residents say the warehouses did not have a proper electricity system and the connection was taken from a neighbor.
