June 15, 2021: A heavy contingent of police is present on Rashid Minhas Road on the orders of the Supreme Court.
The entire team of the Karachi commissioner including the man himself are present on the site. Demolition work of the market adjacent to Aladdin Park has been started. Traders chanting slogans in favor of Sindh Police, Pakistan Army.
The demand of Supreme Court order was made by the management of Aladdin Park. The site is witnessing violent protests by the general public and employees. Among the protesters were club members and their families, including the administration of Aladdin Park.
A large number of employees and traders are involved in the shopping plaza adjacent to Aladdin. It may be mentioned that the Supreme Court Karachi Registry yesterday declared the Pavilion and Club and AllahDin Park Shopping Center illegal and issued an order to demolish them within two days.
