Karachi, 28th August: Pakistan Army relief and rescue efforts continue to help flood victims in Karachi. All areas of Karachi are severely affected due to heavy rains disrupting civic life.
According to the reports from ISPR, 32 Medical camps have been established with the civil administration in various areas including 3 Army Mobile hospitals at Sarjani Town, Qayyumabad, and Saadi Town.
56 relief camps have been established in coordination with civil administration to help stranded people.

Dewatering is being carried out at 9 locations.
Pakistan Army troops are busy in shifting people to safer places. The cooked meal is being provided to affected people in various areas struck due to heavy rains.

5 x camps at Kachi Abadi
4 x camps at Liaqatabad
4 x camps at Dist Malir
2 x camps at Dist Korangi
4 x camps at Dist East ( Gulzar e Hijri)
Hyderabad
Relief operation in Latif Abad is in process. Dewatering at two locations is being undertaken. The cooked food is being provided to the affected population.

Dadu
Army troops evacuated more than 350 people to safer places struck in flood-hit areas. Cooked meals were provided to people affected due to rains.
Badin
5 villages have been flooded, and the Pakistan Navy medical camp is established to provide necessary medical care.
