Karan Deol, Drisha Acharya to tie the knot on June 18

India: Sunny Deol’s son, Karan Deol, is all set to tie the knot with Drisha Acharya, the great-granddaughter of renowned filmmaker Bimal Roy on June 18, 2023. The wedding festivities and preparations are all set to begin in full swing from tomorrow, June 10, at Karan’s grandfather Dharmendra’s house. The wedding is expected to be a three-day affair.

Karan Deol and Disha Acharya got engaged on Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s wedding anniversary in December 2022. The couple are expected to get married next weekend. A source close to the family reveals, “Karan and Drisha’s wedding ceremony will take place on 18th June and will be a close-knit family affair. That’s how the couple want it to be. It will be a week-long celebration for both families. Sunny, who is busy with work currently, is super excited and is making sure everything is perfect for the couple.”

Speaking about the pre-wedding festivities, the source added, “The sangeet, mehendi, and haldi will take place between 15th June and 17th June, with the couple taking the saath pheras on 18th June. The Deol family have also planned a reception for the couple post the wedding, for the industry friends to attend.”

Karan Deol got engaged in February on grandparents Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s anniversary. As per reports he and his long time girlfriend Drisha Acharya have been dating each other for more than six years now. Drisha who is not from the industry works in the travel industry.

Karan Deol is Sunny Deol’s son and veteran actor Dharmendra’s grandson. He made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. It was written and directed by Sunny Deol and produced by Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd and Zee Studios. He will next be seen in Apne 2, also starring his family members, including grandfather Dharmendra and uncle Bobby Deol.
