According to a report by Baaghi TV, the government has renamed the Kashmir Highway in the federal capital Islamabad as Srinagar Highway.
Direction boards and sign boards have been installed under the new name of Srinagar Highway.
The government has renamed the Kashmir Highway from the federal capital to Kashmir as Srinagar Highway. The NHA has installed new name boards at Dhokri Chowk, Faiz Abar, Zero Point, Golra Mor and Expressway.
According to private TV, the Srinagar Highway will be formally inaugurated on August 5 through a ceremony in two phases. In the first phase, Federal Minister Murad Saeed will inaugurate while in the second phase, Federal Interior Minister Ijaz Shah will inaugurate.
