Kelsey Parker, the wife of The Wanted’s Tom Parker, has paid a touching tribute to her late husband one year after his death from brain cancer.
According to E! News, the late singer’s wife has honored his memory on the occasion of his first death anniversary. The Wanted frontman reportedly died of inoperable brain cancer at 33 years of age shortly after the group reunited. He announced his diagnosis of stage four glioblastoma in October 2020.

Sharing a heartfelt tribute in memory of her husband, Kelsey Parker wrote on Instagram: “forever my soul mate”. The couple shared two children: daughter Aurelia, 3, and son Bodhi, 2. Parker paired the caption with a sweet picture of the couple embracing.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Kelsey Parker said that although a year has gone by, “It doesn’t really feel” like it adding that there is “no concept of time”. During the interview, Parker said that while she has not experienced the traditional five stages of grief, she has experienced depression. She recalled, “being really, really sad and not being able to get out of bed”.

Addressing the concept of time healing a grieving family, Parker said, “maybe in 10 years”. She went on to add that she regularly talks about her late husband with their young children, so that “not one day goes by without thinking of him”.
It is worth mentioning that the news of Tom Parker’s death first broke in March last year when his wife, Kelsey Parker shared that the singer “passed away peacefully” surrounded by loved ones by his side. Parker added, “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence”.

At the time of his death, Kelsey Parker had honored the late singer’s determination saying, “he fought until the very end”.
As a member of the British-Irish boy band The Wanted, Tom Parker alongside Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes, and Jay McGuiness was credited for musical hits including “Glad You Came”, “Gold Forever”, “Chasing the Sun”, “I Found You” and others.
