Lahore: Police Station Khudian Khas, District Kasur is siding with the accused in a murder case of a father of an eight days old daughter and three others, the widow of the murdered person told Baaghi TV here Tuesday.
Tahira, the widow, said that the police concerned, that registered FIR 252/21, is not arresting the accused person as he pays monthly to the police.
The accused person is a record-holder and a drug-runner and has good connection the with the local police, she said.
Due to the reason the police not arresting the accused and minting money in the case, she added.
‘I have visited the DSP office many times but he scolded and insulted me instead of arresting the accused person Arshad Dodhi, the murderer of my husband’, Tahira said.
“My husband was killed during the holy month of Ramadan but till now neither the accused is arrested nor any challan has been presented in the court of law, ” she added further.
She said that she and her family have also visited the DPO Kasur and he also has not listened to her concerns.
She alleged the police is reluctant to arrest the accused as he has greased palm of the police.
She appealed to the IG Punjab and DPO Kasur to take immediate notice of the police delaying tactics in arresting her husband’s murderer.
