According to Baaghi TV, the Sindh High Court heard the bail plea of PPP leader Khursheed Shah after his arrest in the assets case.
PPP leader Khursheed Shah’s lawyer Makhdoom Ali Khan gave arguments in the court and said that only 3 out of 44 witnesses testified. Khursheed Shah should be granted bail in the light of court decisions.
Justice Amjad Ali Sehto remarked that the Supreme Court gave two weeks time but months passed. Justice Amjad Ali Sehto asked the NAB officials where is the final reference? What did you do in two years?
Director NAB Sukkur said in the court that some time should be given, documents will be submitted, on which the court said that the case will be decided after hearing today. The court asked if they have brought any documents. to which the lawyer told the court that there was not a single piece of evidence against Khursheed Shah. The prosecutor said that the NAB was trying to run a full reference, the court remarked that a final reference did not enter even after keeping the person for 20 months.
