Khushhali Microfinance Bank has taken the initiative of plantation and maintenance of 6000 trees in Changa Manga near Lahore on Tuesday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Khushhali Microfinance Bank in collaboration with Punjab Forest Department has taken initiative of planting more than 6000 plants in Changa Manga near Lahore. The Tree Plantation, which covers 8.5 acres, will entail plantation of approximately 800 trees per acre, equaling a total of 6,000 trees to help afforestation.
This is the good initiative as Pakistan is ranked the seventh country vulnerable to climate change and needs afforestation to maintain biodiversity and ecological balances. the Khushhali Bank will be paying for the maintenance of the trees planted over the next 5 years by the administration of Changa Manga.
