Kuwait, July 1st: The civil aviation department of the Gulf country of Kuwait has announced the resumption of commercial flights from August 1st.

According to Arab media reports, commercial flights will be resumed in Kuwait from August 1, while the complete resumption of flights will be in phases, the country’s civil aviation department announced a new policy.

According to the report, Kuwait International Airport will be partially opened for commercial flights from August 1, 2020, while the resumption of full air operations is not possible this year.

Kuwait had suspended flights to and from Kuwait International Airport from March 13 due to the global epidemic, but now the resumption of flights will be in three phases, the first of which will be six months after August 1.

Similarly, the second phase will also consist of six months, starting from February 1, 2021. The third phase will begin on August 1, 2021, after which Kuwait International Airport will be in full operational position. However, all possible measures are being taken to ensure safety at the airport.
