In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh highway is continuously witnessing increased movement of Indian troops and vehicles transporting artillery towards Ladakh.

A large number of Indian military vehicles, carrying troops and other artillery have been going on through the highway since Monday following fresh standoff between Indian and Chinese army at South Bank of the Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh.

The locals said that the increased troops’ movement has resulted in the frequent interruption of the civilian traffic on the highway, causing huge inconvenience to them. They said, the movement of troops has increased in the last couple of days, adding, “A large number of Army vehicles could be seen plying towards Ladakh through this road on every day”.
