Jan 20, 2022: A case about the Anarkali Bazaar blast in Lahore was registered in CTD police station.

According to reports, a case of loud bomb blast near shops in the area of ​​famous Lohari Gate of Lahore was registered. Three persons were killed and 29 injured in the blast. Police said that the case of Anar Kali Bazaar blast has been registered in CTD police station. The case has been registered in the complaint of SHO CTD police station.

Police say that 3 unknown terrorists have been mentioned in the FIR.

The case has been registered in the suit filed by Inspector Abid Baig. According to the lawsuit, investigative teams found ball bearings and other materials at the scene. During the sabotage, motorcycles and other belongings were destroyed by fire. 3 unknown terrorists have been mentioned in the case. IEDs were used to carry out terrorist acts. The terrorists came on a motorcycle to carry explosives.
The Anarkali blast resulted in the deaths of three people and injured 29 others, including a nine-year-old child.

On the other hand, regarding the bomb blast in Lahore Anarkali, IG Punjab submitted a preliminary investigation report to the Punjab Chief Minister according to which the Lahore blast was carried out with a planted device. 

According to the initial report, the blast took place at 1:40 am, at 1:44 am, an unknown person’s call came.

The report submitted to the Chief Minister said that the administration including Lahore police rushed to the spot as soon as the information was received. Police, forensic agencies and other investigative agencies were present at the spot.

Preliminary reports say CCTV cameras are being used to help with the explosives installation, and some suspects have been arrested and are being investigated.
