Another incident of high-handedness, of innocent citizen, by Dolphin Police has been reported.
According to the reports of Baaghitv, Lahore’s Dolphin Police has shot an innocent civilian and dolphin police squad alleged him to be a robber. This is the second incident of high handedness of Dolphin Police reported in last 30 days.
Umar Raza, the victim was reportedly going to, buy medication for his ailing mother, a medical store when Dolphin squad signaled him to stop. Umar Raza did not stop which irked the Dolphin squad and they opened fire at him, which hit his leg. The Dolphin Squad after injuring the victim, took him to Gulberg Police Station instead of taking him to nearby hospital and abused him to gave a confession statement that he is a robber.
When his condition deteriorated the Dolphin squad took him to private hospitals where the doctors refused to treat him due to which he was later shifted to Services Hospital.
DIG Operations Lahore Ashfaq Khan has taken notice of this high handedness of Dolphin Police and directed SP Dolphin Bilal Zafar to submit a report on it.
