Lahore: Two landlords have rapped a daughter of a poor rikshaw driver making her four months’ pregnant while the Rahimyar Khan police implicated the father of the raped girl in a fake extortion case to force him to keep silent, BaghiTV has learnt.
“Two men kidnapped me on my way to home and took me to a nearby garden of mangos. They tied and gang-rapped me” the victim girl said.
She said that she cried for help but no one came to rescue her.
The father of the victim said that he was out on his duty when on phone he was told that Muhammad Adnan and Jam Riaz have forcefully taken his daughter away on a motorbike.
He said that he rushed to look for his daughter immediately and found her laying unconscious under a tree in the fields.
“Police lodged FIR of the incident but it was cancelled afterward,” Muhammad Asghar, the father of the victim girl said, adding that police in order to force him to withdraw the complaint, has lodged a fake FIR against him.
He said that the SHO, Police Station Pir Zahar Shah, belongs to the accused party’s tribe and favouring them for bringing the accused out clean.
The accused party is well off and using money to buy police and the medico legal officials, he highlighted.
“When first we went to hospital for the medical of my daughter, a female doctor reported that no rape has occured but after four months the same doctor informed us that my daughter is pregnant,” Asghar said, adding more that the police had cancelled his FIR on the pretext that the complainent was not ready to get DNA test.
He questioned, “how can we refuse DNA test when we ourselves have wished for the test and asked the police,” urging the IG Punjab to take notice of the issue.
The accused party in connivence with police was meneuvouring the case, he said, adding that even Rahimyar Khan DPO has refused to listen to them.
When this correspondent contacted Asad Serfraz, DPO, Rahimyar Khan on his phone his staff officer said that the DPO office has no knowledge of such happening.
