In Tanzania, at least 47 people were killed and 85 others injured in landslides caused by flooding in northern region.
In a statement, district commissioner Janeth Mayanja said that heavy rain hit the town of Katesh.
Death toll is likely to increase while many roads in the area had been blocked.
