Larry King moved out of ICU amid COVID-19 battle

New York, 5th January: Legendary American Television host Larry King was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after he tested positive for the coronavirus last week.

Baaghi TV: According to the latest reports, Larry King, 87, has been discharged from the ICU but is still hospitalized as he still battles COVID-19.

Talking to NBC News, sources revealed that the broadcasting icon is still hospitalized after his COVID-19 diagnosis but was no longer in the ICU.

As per reports, one of his sons had also tested positive for COVID-19.

King, who has Type 2 diabetes, has suffered a series of medical issues over the years, including several heart attacks and quintuple bypass surgery in 1987. In 2017, King was diagnosed with lung cancer after which he underwent successful surgery. In 2019, he was also treated for an angina attack.

Recently on his 87th birthday, King was admitted in the hospital over blood flow issues as well.

According to Roger Friedman’s Showbiz 411, the veteran talk show host has been ill since the past ten days. Due to the strict protocol of the hospital, King’s three sons have been unable to visit him, according to the source.

According to reports, last year he lost his two children, son Andy, 65, from a heart attack, and daughter Chaia, 55, from lung cancer.
