LCCI holds Achievement Awards 2021 held

Lahore: As many as 19 businessmen won LCCI Achievement Awards. The Awards were given to them at an impressive ceremony at Aiwan e Sadar.
The recipients included Sheharyar Arshad of Zoom Marketing Oil received Premier Achievement Award. Khawaja Absham Mehboob of KMA Biz received Professional Businessman Award. Fiaz Haider of BB Chempak Industries, Dr. Tahir Masood of NESPAK, Safir Bashir of The Safeer International, Waheed Shahzad of Popular Pipes Group of Companies, M. Nawaz Akram of Nawaz Rice Engineering received Professional Businessman Award. Tehmina Saeed Chaudhry of Data Group, Mian M. Younis of Marflex Group of Companies, Javed Ahmed Bhatti of Ittefaq Trading Co., Muhammad Irfan of Electro Tech Trading Company, Noman Ahmed Said of SI Global Solution, Umair Majeed of Datics A.I. Technologies, Rifaat un Nisa of Khayyam Publisher, Ahmed Ellahi of AA Leather, Muhammad Jawad of JSN Traders, Nayab Raza Bukhari of Nayabs, Aun Raza of Clive Shoes, Muhammad Atif Amin of Royal Roller Flour Mills received Young Entrepreneur Gold Medal. Former LCCI Presidents Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Tahir Javed Malik, LCCI President Mian Tariq Misbah, Vice President Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry and Convener LCCI Standing Committee on Achievement Awards Muhammad Haroon Arora received LCCI Achievement Awards.

Former LCCI Presidents Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Farooq Iftikhar, Abdul Basit, Tahir Javed Malik, LCCI newly elected President Mian Nauman Kabir, Former Senior Vice Presidents Kashif Younas Meher, Khawaja Khawar Rashid, Executive Committee Members, government top officials and a large number of businessmen were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Mian Tariq Misbah said that Pakistan has faced the Corona Challenges better than other countries and has achieved significant success in reviving its economy despite various difficulties. This involved a lot of timely decisions of the government.
He said that Pakistan Stock Exchange also broke all previous records of business improvement and became the 4th Best Stock Market globally. Another proof of the recent economic recovery is that our Large Scale Manufacturing has improved a lot. The government is focusing on the construction sector, which is directly benefiting many allied industries. He added that for the first time since 2013-14, our exports exceeded 25 billion. It is a result of strong confidence in the government that our remittances have reached a record level of 29 billion so far. “It is very encouraging that according to a recent survey by the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry, foreign investors’ confidence in the government has increased by 60%”, the LCCI President said.
Mian Tariq Misbah said that the new situation that has emerged in Afghanistan due to the Change of Regime is seen by our business community as a major business opportunity. The volume of Pak-Afghan trade is currently close to one billion dollars. If the government adopts a better strategy in this regard with the consultation of the private sector, then the Bilateral Trade Volume can be easily increased two to three times.
He said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a Business Support Organization and has the honor of being the historic institution of the country. The Lahore Chamber is playing its full role for the economic development of Pakistan. LCCI member companies are playing an active role in making new investments, creating new jobs, paying taxes and increasing the national treasury through Export Revenue. The Lahore Chamber of Commerce has taken numerous steps to protect the interests of the business community and at the same time has always been at the forefront of contributing generously to the service of humanity in the event of any natural disaster. “We are always busy maintaining these traditions of the Lahore Chamber”, he added.
Mian Tariq Misbah thanked Dr. Arif Alvi for patronizing the business community and granting LCCI to hold its events at Presidents House.
LCCI Vice President Tahhir Manzoor Chaudhry said that the basic objective of the LCCI Achievement Awards is to highlight and celebrate the achievements of our Progressive Businessmen, who have reached new heights of success in their respective fields of business. Convener LCCI Standing Committee on Achievement Awards Muhammad Haroon Arora also threw light on the aims and objectives of the LCCI Achivement Awards.
