Lahore September 05 (Online Int’l): The Lahore General Hospital administration has formed two mobile medical teams comprising upon male and female doctors, nurses and paramedics to provide immediate medical relief to the flood victims in different areas.

A duty roster has also been issued in this regard, following which the medical staff will assume their responsibilities.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof. Dr. Sardar Muhammad Al-freed Zafar while talking in this regard told that the services of the said teams have been handed over to the Deputy Commissioner, Kasur District.

The LGH administration will also liaise with the Flood Control Center set up by the Institute of Public Health to deal with any kind of situation.

Principal Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar said that the LGH administration has been at the forefront in providing relief to the people at every time and in the future too, doctors and other employees will continue to provide relief to the people in the spirit of humanitarian service. We will leave no stone unturned in this regard, Principal PGMI added.

He asked the doctors of the said teams to perform their professional duties so that timely medical facilities could be provided to the people and they be given immediate medical treatment especially in flood prone areas during exceptional circumstances.
