LHC ruling on Captain Safdar’s bail plea
Lahore, 5th October: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ruled on Captain(R) Safdar’s bail application.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, in the case of treason against PML-N leader Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, Lahore High Court has granted security bail to Muhammad Safdar till October 10.

Justice Asjad Javed Gharial heard the objection petition of Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Safdar, who appeared before the court for the lawyers. Justice Asjad Javed Gharial asked whether there was a certified copy of the case.
The counsel for the petitioner said that he was not giving a certified copy of the case due to which a copy of the computerized FIR was copied. “Give us more than a week,” the lawyer said.
A meeting of PML-N and opposition parties is being held in Gujranwala tomorrow. Justice Asjad Javed Gharial of the High Court dismissed the objection of the Registrar’s Office not to have a certified attachment of the case.
Gujranwala police have registered a case of treason against Muhammad Safdar. The case includes provisions of mutiny. PML-N leader Captain Safdar had addressed a consultative meeting at the residence of PML-N MPA Imran Khalid Butt in Gujranwala on October 2. A case has been registered against the PML-N leader in Satellite Town on the complaint of SHO, which also includes the name of MPA Imran Khalid Butt.
A case registered by Gujranwala police said that Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar had said in his speech that if any arrest was made in Gujranwala, the house of the corps commander would be cordoned off near Kent.
