According to reports, Federal Minister Asad Omar has said that gas and fuel are being supplied to K Electric. 77% areas of Karachi should not have load shedding. If K Electric continues to violate, action must be taken. These views were expressed by Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar while talking on ARY News program ‘Sawal Ye Hai’. He said that NEPRA has clear authority. If K Electric does not fulfill its responsibility, NEPRA will take action. Asad Omar said that K Electric is getting gas. If load shedding is still going on, the agreement will be violated. He said that he would look into the issue of load shedding in Karachi. K Electric will take action if it violates the agreement. NEPRA will take action if K Electric does not abide by the agreement. The federal minister said that investment was being made in energy all over the country but K Electric did not do it.
