Liverpool Face Court Battle With Their Own Kit Supplier

Football club Liverpool has faced court battle with their own kit supplier New Balance.

According to details, Liverpool are in a legal dispute with New Balance beacuse they are about to announce a club-record deal with Nike. New Balance claims that they have ‘matching clause’ contract that will expire at the end of the season. Liverpool spokesperson has confirmed that New Balance commenced a legal dispute against the club. “I can confirm that our kit supplier, New Balance, has commenced a legal dispute against us and we will not make further comments during legal proceedings.” he said.

Reportedly, Liverpool’s current six year £45m contract with New Balance is due to expire at the end of the season. Moreover, Liverpool are close to a £70m-a-season agreement with Nike. It would be the most profitable in the club’s history.
