LNG case: NAB files supplementary reference against Shahid Khaqan and others

ISLAMABAD, Sep 07 (Online): NAB has filed supplementary reference against 22 accused including former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in LNG case.

Judge Azam Khan of Accountability Court (AC) court room No 2 took up the case for hearing Monday.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared before the court.

The attendance of the co-accused in the reference was marked at the inception of hearing of the case.

NAB prosecutor told the court supplementary reference has been filed against the accused persons. If the accused want to obtain copies of supplementary reference, they can do so. But what can be done about those who are not present.

Judge Azam Khan remarked “we issue notices in respect of the accused who are absent.

The court issued notices to 5 new accused in the reference.

The court summoned Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on September 22 besides adjourning the hearing of the case.
