LWMC Chairman strives to ensure the best sanitation in the city
Lahore (18 Feb): The GM operation was suspended due to unsatisfactory sanitation arrangements in the city. “This company will not run the remaining gamblers under any circumstances”, Chairman LWMC Malik Amjad Ali Noon stated. According to the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, LWMC is striving to ensure the best sanitation arrangements in the city. The agency is using all its resources to carry out the clean-up operation in three shifts in the city. “I have been trying to meet the Chief Minister of Punjab for the last two or three days to inform him about the current state of sanitation in the city and the administrative matters of the institution, but the staff of his office is not allowing me to meet him”, Chairman LWMC added. The purpose of the meeting was to express reservations over the letter received by the Principal Secretary, CM Secretariat, Punjab on February 15, and to the Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce, Mian Aslam Iqbal, to oversee the CM Secretariat’s LWMC cleaning campaign.
