According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Inamullah, co-accused of Mufti Ehsan in Madaraba scandal, was arrested. NAB had issued arrest warrant for Inamullah since 2014. Accused Inamullah was arrested from Masrial Road, Rawalpindi.
The NAB court has ordered Mufti Ehsan Madaraba and other criminals to be fined billions and sentenced. According to NAB sources, it has also been decided to sell 13 luxury vehicles seized in the Madaraba case. The seized mansions, lands and other valuable properties will also be sold, and the proceeds from the sale of vehicles will be distributed among the victims.
Dozens of valuable vehicles were seized in the Madaraba case. So far, the NAB has arrested 44 accused in the scandal. The recovered money will be returned to the victims after scrutiny.
Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has said that merit, transparency, evidence and effective follow-up should be done in accordance with the law to bring the Mudaraba / Musharaka cases to a logical conclusion. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting on review of Madaraba cases at NAB headquarters.
It was informed in the meeting that NAB Rawalpindi has filed 30 references of corruption in the relevant accountability courts and Rs. 644.877837 million has been recovered.
The frozen assets are worth Rs 1646.5 million while Mufti Ehsanul Haq, Mufti Abrarul Haq, Hafiz Muhammad Nawaz, Moin Aslam, Obaid A, Mufti Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, Sajjad Ahmad, Asif Javed, Ghulam Rasool Ayubi, Muhammad Hussain Ahmad, Hamid Nawaz , 45 accused including Mohammad Irfan, Bilal Khan Bangash, Matiur Rehman, Mohammad Noman Qureshi, Syed Akshay Hussain, Mohammad Adil Butt, Mohammad Saqib, Umair Ahmed, Aqeel Abbasi, Mufti Hanif Khan, Nazir Ahmed Ibrahim and Saifullah have been arrested.
It was also informed in the meeting that Najamuddin and Ghulam Rasool have been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 67 million in the Madaraba case in the accountability court Islamabad. All the allegations against the accused Najamuddin and Ghulam Rasool Ayubi have been proved true. The accused were arrested by NAB Rawalpindi on charges of massive deception in the name of Islamic investment in the Madaraba scandal. The accountability court had also ordered confiscation of the property of both the accused.
It was also informed in the meeting that NAB Rawalpindi sentenced the Chief Executive Officer Messrs. Fayazi Group of Industries, Mufti Ehsanul Haq and 9 other accused to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1 billion, which is the highest sentence in the history of NAB.
During the meeting, it was informed that NAB Rawalpindi had filed a defamation suit against Chief Executive Officer Islamic Investment Muhammad Nazir and other accused in the Madaraba case on charges of embezzling Rs 95.52 million from the public in the name of Islamic investment.
NAB Rawalpindi has filed a corruption reference in the Accountability Court Rawalpindi against Muhammad Bilal of Bilal Trading Corporation and other accused in the Madaraba case on charges of embezzling Rs 48.410 million from the public in the name of Islamic investment.
NAB Rawalpindi has filed a corruption reference in the Accountability Court Rawalpindi against Chief Executive Officer Al Jazeera International Muhammad Yasir and other accused on charges of embezzling Rs 5.95 million from the public in the name of corruption and Islamic investment in the Madaraba case.

Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal said that NAB is committed to bring the Mudaraba / Musharaka cases to a logical conclusion. He directed all the officers and officials of NAB to make all out efforts to recover the money looted from the corrupt elements of Madaraba / Musharaka scandals. The Chairman NAB also directed that the money looted from the victims of Mudaraba / Mashraka scandals should be returned to them on the basis of merit, evidence and law.
