During her third Celebration Tour date in London, pop icon Madonna expressed her concern and dismay over the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. Madonna questioned the audience, saying, “What the f**k is going on in the world?” She then proceeded to make a heartfelt statement about the war, which she described as “heartbreaking.”

The Queen of Pop highlighted the distressing scenes she had seen on social media, referencing the suffering of innocent civilians, particularly children. She deplored acts of violence and cruelty, stating, “How can human beings be so cruel to one another? It’s just getting worse. It frightens me.”

Madonna invoked the idea that all children worldwide belong to everyone and that people share a responsibility for their well-being, regardless of their origins or backgrounds. She also mentioned a recent hate crime involving a 6-year-old boy in Illinois, suggesting it was fueled by religious and ethnic prejudice linked to the Middle Eastern conflict.

Madonna concluded her statement with a message of hope, encouraging individuals to take action and make a positive impact in the face of these global challenges. She emphasized that despite the darkness in the world, each person has the power to bring light and positivity to the lives of others.

Madonna had previously made a shorter statement about the Israel-Hamas conflict during the opening night of her Celebration Tour, and she had also posted a message on Instagram, expressing sympathy for those affected by the conflict and distinguishing between the actions of Hamas and innocent individuals in Palestine.
