Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omar and others join pro-Palestine protest

Lahore, 20th May: Pakistani celebrities join the pro-Palestine march that was held in Karachi to raise their voice against the Israeli atrocities.

According to reports, the people of Karachi and many notable celebrities expressed solidarity with Palestinians as they carried out a protest outside Karachi Press Club on Wednesday.

Thousand of citizens gathered to raise their voice against the Israeli brutalities and show their support for the people of Gaza.

Pakistan’s renowned lawyer and activist shared the footage on his official Twitter handle:

Important celebrities like Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omar, Anoushey Ashraf, Shehrayar Munawar, and Sanam Jung joined the protest and made their presence notified.

Ayesha Omar expressed at the protest by saying that we all pray for the ones that have departed. We pray for the families suffering. We pray for this nightmare to end. We pray, protest, and raise our voices for the world to sit up and to put enough pressure to stop this genocide in Gaza.”

Actor Sheheryar Munawar posted an image along with Mahira Khan on his Twitter account holding a placard to support Palestine.

Model-turned-actress Nadia Hussain claimed that Israeli products should be prohibited in Pakistan. She also clarified that not every Jew living in Israel is cruel and supports oppression.

People spoke about war crimes and brutalities that Israel is inflicting on Palestinian children and women specifically and expressed their emotions holding meaningful placards.
