SEOUL: A man in his thirties was reportedly detained by authorities after he opened the plane door mid-air. The passenger onboard an Asiana Airlines flight informed police he had been “uncomfortable”.  According to a Yonhap News Agency report, on Friday, a passenger told police he opened the plane door minutes before it landed in Daegu, South Korea because he had felt “uncomfortable”.  Saleem Mandviwalla recommends reinstatement of pilots Imran’s lawyer Babar Awan leaves for London The man who was reported to be in his thirties, further informed the police that he did so because he wanted to “get off the plane quickly”. The Yonhap report further added that the man had been stressed after recently losing his job. According to Reuters, the plane was approximately 700 feet above the ground when it happened, causing panic onboard.
