Lahore: According to reports, a petition has been filed in Faisal Town police station against the blasphemous tweet of so-called social activist Marvi Sarmad. It is said that Marvi Sarmad used blasphemous words against Hazrat Esaa (P.B.U.H) through social media.
The petition also states that Marvi Sarmad likened the holy being Hazrat Esaa (P.B.U.H) to the Baloch community. Marvi Sarmad’s move did hurt religious sentiments.
The petition filed for trial in Yasal Town states that Marvi Sarmad harmed the self-esteem of the followers of Hazrat Esaa (P.B.U.H).Legal action should be taken against Marvi Sarmad for insulting the prophets,According to sources, the petition against Marvi Sarmad, submitted by Advocate Rana Abu Hurairah on behalf of Qais Azeem.
