Maryam Nawaz refuses to meet people who visit for condolence

Lahore, 23rd November: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has refused to meet the visiting delegation for condolence.

According to a Baaghi TV report, a delegation coming to offer condolences on the death of Maryam Nawaz’s grandmother has been barred from meeting Maryam Nawaz.

As per reports, when Dr Samia Raheel Qazi wanted to meet Maryam Nawaz for her grandmother but she was stopped.

Maryam Nawaz refused to meet Samia Raheel Qazi after which Qazi left a note on which it was written, “dear Maryam Nawaz I came to you to meet you for the condolence on your grandmother’s demise but I was stopped from meeting and was told that no one is allowed to meet you.”

Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif’s mother passed away yesterday after which religious and political leaders are offering condolences.

On the other hand, preparations are being made to bring back the body of Nawaz Sharif’s mother from London. Funeral prayers of Begum Shamim Akhtar will be offered at Sharif Medical City. Begum Shamim Akhtar, the mother of Nawaz Sharif and President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif, passed away in London. 

According to family sources, Begum Shamim Akhtar had Alzheimer’s disease and a severe chest infection.
