LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has tested positive for COVID-19 during the fourth wave of the pandemic. According to PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz has tested positive for coronavirus after which she has quarantined herself. Maryam Nawaz has been very busy with Azad Kashmir elections for some days and also participated in rallies. It should be noted that 44 more people died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours across the country. Around 4,119 positive cases have been reported. Due to neglect and violation of SOPs, the fourth wave of coronavirus started gaining momentum in Pakistan, the rate of positive cases increased to about 8%.
