Lahore, 28th March: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has tested negative for novel coronavirus.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz has tested negative for COVID-19.

Maryam Nawaz had been suffering from fever and throat infection, after which the party leader took her coronavirus test o Saturday.

Maryam Nawaz’s spokesperson, Maryam Aurangzeb had confirmed yesterday that PML-N’s vice president had fallen sick and called off the political activities for the next four days.

The party leader had tested herself against the virus, the result of which had come negative. The news had been confirmed by PML-N MPA Hina Parvez Butt through her Twitter handle.

She wrote, “Thank God Maryam’s corona test has come negative. There may be an infection that is being treated. Many prayers for his speedy recovery.”

It is being reported that Maryam Nawaz has throat infection for which she is being treated by the doctors and is taking complete rest.
