ISLAMABAD: In the matriculation examinations conducted under the Federal Board of Education, female students took the field and got first position with 1097 marks of 2 female students of APS and Model College.

According to the details, a statement issued by the Federal Board of Education said that the girls won the positions of science and arts group.

According to the announcement, two female students of APS and Model College bagged the first position with 1097 marks. Manahil Aman of APS and Nisha Yaqub of Model College bagged the first position.

The second position was won by a student named Faheem Abbas and Zartasha Abbasi who got 1096 marks in the examinations while 11 students got 1095 marks, they were given third position and were declared successful.

The chairman of the federal board said that the children were being promoted as per the government guidelines and the students of class X were given extra marks of 3% on the basis of their performance in class IX.
