According to a Baaghi TV report, the government has decided to consult with allies and opposition parties on the Kashmir issue.
The government has convened a national consultative conference on Kashmir to which all opposition parties have been invited.
However, we have reports that the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, refused to attend the National Consultative Conference. On which the government gave the task of conciliating JUI to the N-League. PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif telephoned Maulana Fazal ur Rehman on which Maulana Fazal ur Rehman said that Kashmir deal was done, now there is no point in shedding crocodile tears.
It should be noted that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has been the chairman of the Kashmir Committee in previous governments. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman was made chairman of the Kashmir Committee, which had 36 members, after the PPP government came to power in 2008.
The committee convened forty meetings during the PPP regime and spent crores of rupees on foreign tours, although the chairman of the Kashmir committee, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, did not take any spokesperson with him on the tours. Maulana does not know English. He traveled abroad in the name of Kashmir Committee.
When the PML-N government was formed in the 2013 elections, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman was once again made the chairman of the Kashmir Committee and his post was equated to that of a federal minister. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, as the Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, continued to receive the same privileges as a Minister.
According to a report, Maulana convened only three meetings of the Kashmir Committee from 2013 to 2016 at a cost of Rs. 18 crore. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman’s status was equal to that of a federal minister and he got a government house in Minister Enclave.
Despite the concessions and expenses of crores of rupees, the importance of Maulana Fazal ur Rehman’s chairmanship of the Kashmir Committee and the importance of Kashmir can also be gauged from the fact that when Burhan Muzaffar Wani was martyred in 2016, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman Were chairman. He had called a meeting of the Kashmir Committee a week after Wani’s martyrdom.
After the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, full solidarity programs were organized by the Pakistani nation in support of Kashmiris, but Maulana remembered Kashmir a week later despite being the chairman of the Kashmir Committee.
When Maulana Fazal ur Rehman was asked by a journalist about the performance of the Kashmir Committee that the committee had held eight meetings in four years, Maulana Fazlur Rehman became angry. He asked the journalist to tell me whether to attack India for Kashmir.
Apart from the government, the opposition and the Pakistani nation were not satisfied with the chairmanship of Maulana Fazal ur Rehman’s Kashmir Committee.
Several times there was a demand to remove him from the chairmanship but Maulana persisted, now after the formation of PTI government and defeat in the election of Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, the chairmanship which had been going on for ten years was taken away from him.
On which they are very worried and even at night in their dreams they are campaigning against the government but they cannot say a word for Kashmiris.
