ISLAMABAD, FEB 06 (Online): PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has held an important meeting with PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz to discuss modus operandi of long march and its duration.
The two agreed on taking final decision on long march after reviewing all the proposals in this regard in the steering committee meeting.
Sources said it has been proposed to make first stay at Faizabad on arrival in Islamabad.
The two also discussed the strategy to ensure success of joint candidates in Senate polls.
Sources further said that PPP proposals were discussed either no trust move should be tabled first in Punjab assembly or Balochistan.
Maryam Nawaz said no trust move option has not been rejected. It will become clear to all during Senate polls who stands with whom.
It was decided to oppose strongly the move for holding Senate polls through show of hand under ordinance. We will go to court if we deem it proper.

It was agreed in the meeting that the process for senate polls can not be changed without constitutional amendment.
The Kashmir election strategy also came under discussion. Maryam Nawaz informed Maulana Fazlur Rehman about Kashmir election strategy.
PML-N leader Senator Pervez Rashid and JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri were also present in the meeting.
