Meesha Shafi and her co-accused once again fail to appear for the hearing
Lahore, 11th March: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a challan against singer Meesha Shafi for starting a campaign against famous singer Ali Zafar on social media.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, FIA has issued a challan against Meesha Shafi for starting a smear campaign against Ali Zafar on social media.
According to reports, the court initiated criminal proceedings against Meesha Shafi, Iffat Omar, Leena Ghani and others as FIA submitted it’s final challan on Thursday.
However, the accused failed to appear before the court despite being summoned. The court was furious when four co-accused, including Meesha Shafi, did not appear.
The lawyers informed they all had a fever. To which the judge said how did everyone get sick at the same time.
The judge had ordered the lawyers not to take the matter lightly and present the accused before the court soon.
Hence, Pakistani actress-host Iffat Omar appeared before the court after some time.
As per sources, Iffat Omar was the only one to report for the case hearing today while she filed an apology in place of the 4 accused who failed to appear.
The court has summoned all the accused, including Meesha Shafi, on March 27.
It is to be noted that Meesha Shafi has not able to appear before the court so far regarding the defamation suit filed by superstar Ali Zafar against Shafi after she ruined his reputation on social media.
